Thousands of people in
France are set to take to the streets in the capital, Paris to protest
against a controversial bill, which legalizes same-sex marriage and
adoption.
European states,
including the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Portugal, Norway, Spain,
and Sweden have authorized same sex-marriages.
French churches have also condemned the
bill, calling gay marriage “a sham” that would “shake one of the
foundations of our society.”
