SOUTH AFRICA has suspended 8 COPS in response to the sickening footage of a taxi-driver being dragged a road by a police van

A murder probe has been launched into his death and South Africa's Police Service (SAPS) announced it will hold an internal investigation into cops' behaviour.
This morning,
national police commissioner, General Riah Phiyega said the attack would be abhorred by all "right-thinking people".
She said: "It was extreme shock and outrage that we witnessed the incident in Daveyton.
"From the video which has gone viral it is obvious that the rights of MM were violated in the most extreme form
Cabbie Mido Macia was found dead in a cell after being handcuffed to the vehicle after officers forced him to the ground.
Mido, 27, was found to have suffered head injuries and internal bleeding.
