BROTHER OF MURDER SUSPECT, OSCAR PISTORIOUS ALSO FACING TRIAL OVER WOMAN'S DEATH

THE brother of Blade Runner Oscar Pistorius is ALSO facing trial for allegedly killing a woman, it has emerged. 

Carl Pistorius has been charged with culpable homicide over the death of a motorcyclist he is said to have knocked down in his car.
The athlete's older brother had been due to appear in court on Thursday, according to local media reports in South Africa, but instead was at Oscar's side throughout his bail hearing.
Carl Pistorius was allegedly at the wheel of a car involved in a crash that left a woman motorcyclist dead in 2010.

The accident took place in the town of Vanderbijlpark, an hour's drive south of Johannesburg.
The criminal charge against him has only just emerged in South Africa's press, and was confirmed by family lawyer Kenneth Oldwage.

Carl is due in court again at the end of March after his trial was reportedly pushed back.
It means his trial may end before his younger brother Oscar's is due to begin on June 4.
